Our Resilience & Livelihood (Res-Live) program has been built on three pillars of sustainability:
≥ Social
≥ Economic
≥ Environmental
Delta Africa through its partners work tirelessly in strengthening communities on climate change adaptation (CCA) and disaster risk reduction (DRR) with the common goal of building resilience to hazards, cutting disaster risk, reducing vulnerability and poverty. Natural disasters and climate change expose populations to greater social, environmental, and economic vulnerability that threaten livelihoods. To address these challenges, Delta Africa has embarked on community engagement with adaptation and mitigation projects that provides training to youth and women in suppressing risks associated with climate change and natural hazards and provides them with opportunities to make their communities more resilient.
