Access to justice is a central theme in our constitution. Our plan is to provide all that it takes to ensure that constitutional rights are realized. By utilizing a multifaceted strategy to educate people about the provisions of and access to their rights as enshrined in the constitution, we work to eradicate injustice wherever it is seen to exist.
Citizens have the potential to hold their leaders and institutions accountable, pushing them to be responsive and fulfill their promise to serve the common good. Limited involvement by citizens through public participation in the affairs of government touching the lives of communities robs off the nation critical inputs that would deepen and sustain a democratic culture based on the values enshrined in the constitution. We emphasize on community – led and issue – driven approaches in engaging citizens to freely exercise their freedom of association, discuss their areas of interest and take appropriate action.
